Transforming hazardous steel waste into clean water and green energy.
What we do
We specialize in innovative recycling, targeting some of the most problematic waste streams from the steel industry.
When steel is shaped or polished using cutting oils, grinding swarf, or sludge, is generated. It is classified as hazardous and difficult to recycle into new steel, why it is commonly being landfilled.
At Anferra we have a new circular approach, in which we transform this problematic steel waste into essential resources to give you clean water, and green energy. Not only are we reducing landfilling of steel waste but we also create valuable products, supporting circularity across multiple industries.
From waste to value
Our patent pending process is specialized in recycling fine-grained, low-alloy steel waste fractions, the ones most difficult to remelt into new steel. Our process effectively separates out alloying metals, abrasives and lubricants, producing high quality iron based chemicals. The uniqueness lies in being able to produce a circular chemical, meeting the highest industry standards for water treatment, from a highly problematic, polluted waste fraction.
Increased recycling rate of grinding swarf
Reduced waste management costs
High quality Iron Chloride Output
